Freyr Guðmundsson

I am an executive with over 10 years of leadership experience in software companies. I have worked with both large and small teams, ranging from e-commerce, to music software, to DNS management. I provide stability and structure, process and productivity, and generally raise organizations to higher levels of professionalism. Colleagues know me as an insightful thinker with deep expertise in management practices, the software development lifecycle, analytical thinking, communication, and teamwork; an organizational problem solver.

I’m a musician at heart. I was originally a trumpet player, and in my freetime I still enjoy playing guitar, and have aspirations to learn piano eventually. I’m also an avid gamer and quite enjoy being able to zone out with a controller in my hands once in a while after a long and difficult day. I enjoy classic world cinema, and have found that throwing myself into that world has expanded my mind in ways I did not expect. I look forward to continue this expansion into other art forms. And last but not least, I live in Berlin Germany with my beautiful wife and wonderful 2-year old daughter, who teaches me more every day than I ever knew was possible.
